What follows are pictures from my New Zealand trip (and a brief 20 hour stopover in Thailand). They are in backward order (the last part of my trip first). Here is the Great Palace in Thailand, where I saw the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It was "winter" in Bangkok and "cold," according to my host. 70 degrees F--I'm not complaining!
