Adventures in Cooking in Kazakhstan Part II: I got a "new" stove (it's about fifteen years old) to replace my really really old stove. Yet my new stove has a unique feature: the oven door won't close shut. Sometimes the simplest things, or, in this case, string, can be hard to come by here. In desperation while making a batch of chocolate chip cookies, I used my bikini top to tie the door shut. Worked like a charm and the evidence to prove it is above!
